The C2C Safari is a non competitive 4x4 safari from the Lake-district to Northumberland or Northumberland to Lake-District by using legal off-road routes. the Safari takes 2 days to complete with some of the most challenging green-lanes the country has to offer with tracks at over 2000 feet view's can be spectacular. but don't worry although all routes are challenging none are designed to break vehicles and you will have the benefit of our experienced guides to assist and advise. We run three different routes as explained here.
Green route for polished cars a totally none damaging route. designed for 4x4 owners who don't mind a bit of mud on the wheels with little or no modifications needed to vehicles i.e. straight from the showroom with road tyre's.
Red route for mildly modified vehicles designed for owners who don't mind minor bumps and scrape's on there vehicles suitable modifications are AT tyres, lift kit, guards and maybe a raised air intake. Better equipped inboard with tow rope/recovery equipment.
Black route these guys are the serous vehicles same mod's as red vehicles plus recommended MT tyres, roll bar of some type a winch will be needed.
Passenger route we do offer on our green and red runs a passenger service which is very popular with people wanting to experience the safari but don't have a suitable vehicle with this option you can be part of the Safari. Our Mitsubushi Pajero is capable of carrying 6 passengers and our Landrover Discovery is capable of carrying 5 Passengers so a total of 11 passengers in comfort we can carry luggage and pick up drop off at major transport terminals if required.

all of our 4x4 Safari's are run for maximum enjoyment for the participant and to that end there are ample opportunities for comfort stop's, photo opportunities and all major points of interest will be pointed out with as much information as humanly possible made available to yourselves.
