Green lane Days

For information E-mail GreenlaneDay@4x4Safari.co.uk or ring Brian (01207) 272228 Mobile (07711) 231417

The Green Lane days are built up from years of experience.

We have over fifty year's experience of green lane use amongst the staff here at 4x4 Safari. We know the legality of the tracks and trails we even know the farmers of the adjacent land. We know where the local petrol stations are and just in case of any problems we know where the local mechanic works. Using all this knowledge we make the perfect green lane day. Booking Form Here.

The whole day will be planned around getting enough time in for refreshment stops whether that be picnic's on the green lanes or something piping hot in front of roaring fire. We try and include enough of the local history on all of our runs to keep people interested and try and show we have some etiquette!!

Passenger Service.    This is a option on Green Lane Days we can arrange pick-up from local transport Terminus and drop off at the end of the day.

Travelling as a passenger in one of our vehicles is a experience in it's self. As what we call one of our recovery vehicles there will be some equipment on board already jack, straps, first aid kit some spares only the necessary equipment. After that our vehicles are fairly clean and tidy although bits of the countryside will be dragged in on boots and the like. As a passenger you are not expected to get involved at all with the manual labour involved in being in a recovery vehicle but if you want you are welcome to get involved you will be under strict instruction at all times. There is normally air conditioning in the vehicles so you shouldn't get cold there will be drinking water in the vehicle as well as some basic foods. The vehicles are secure so luggage, valuables can be left in the vehicles there will be 12v sockets available for use if needed and some vehicles even have 240v mains electricity if needed. There will be three point seat belts for all passengers and we do expect them to be used. Children as young as 5 are normally can be accommodated without a problem although if a booster seat is needed we need to know as these are not normally carried in the vehicle's. Children younger than 5 can be catered for by prior arrangement as we do like to use approved safety child seats. Disabled there are no special modifications for the disabled to our vehicles, but we do try to the best of our abilities to cater for disabled persons if there are special requirements please contact us and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs. Pets/animals may be accommodated only by prior arrangements.

Sorry but for Health and Safety reasons there is a strict no smoking rule in our vehicles.
